Tenth Dan Judo Grandmaster (and WWII, Korea and Vietnam vet) Sid Hallburn throwing me over his hip (Seoi Ogoshi) at a demonstration at the Adventurer's club of Los Angeles (Sid was a long time member).He was around 87 at the time.

Old picture of Grandmaster Sid Hallburn and I. Sid was a World War 2, Korean War and Vietnam Conflict Veteran. Sid started out in the U.S. Army, then the Army Air Corps and, finally, the United States Air Force. He was a tenth degree black belt (the highest level that only a handful in history have attained) in Judo, a Black Belt Hall of Famer (sat on the board at Black Belt Magazine for 17 years) and friend of the likes of Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris.He would throw me around well into his nineties.I miss you old friend.
